“ I had an exceptional experience during my visit today. The service provided was remarkable, the staff greeted us with warm smiles and consistently demonstrated kindness and excellence throughout our meal. The food was not only delicious but also offered a unique selection that stood out. The atmosphere of the establishment was inviting, contributing to an overall enjoyable experience. Additionally, the restrooms were impeccably clean and maintained to a high standard. The timing of the meal service was also impressive, with drinks, starters, and the main course arriving promptly. Khinga who looked after us was exceptional.Thank you. ”
“ Stunning food! Can't fault our experience at all. Lovely waitress called Kinga, Service was quick and friendly. They amended our valentine's meal time slot as we were going to be late. Overall a wonderful experience. ”
“ Very nice lunch on Mother’s Day, food and service was great and they gave all the mums complimentary flowers which was so lovely. Highly recommend for a delightful lunch in Bath. ”
“ As I’ve written before, I’ve long held the view that the posher the location, the worse the breakfast. It’s a complex dilemma: do you opt for somewhere warm and welcoming, where the service is lovely but there’s a real risk of unnecessary garnish on your fried eggs? Or do you brave a hard plastic seat next to a man muttering to himself while devouring the fry-up of your dreams? Well, today we went posh. The Ivy in Bath is a feast for the eyes—genuinely one of the most beautiful dining rooms in the city. And after a night on the tiles, it’s exactly what you want: a warm welcome, a comfortable seat, and a hot coffee placed in front of you before you’ve even remembered how you got home. The service is impeccable, the food arrives swiftly, and yes, there’s something green and decorative perched on my eggs—but you know what? I don’t mind. Because a Sunday morning at The Ivy is exactly what Sunday mornings should be. ”
“ As always a good experience at The Ivy. Food is good, if a few pounds too expensive in my opinion. We were given a free birthday profiterole which is a nice touch! Friendly staff and decent service. ”
“ Visited on a Sunday night, was fairly busy considering how quiet the city was in general. Food was really good and brought out relatively quickly. Staff were attentive and helpful, but not overbearing. Value of the winter 3 course menu was great. All in all - strongly recommend. ”
“ Didn’t plan on dining here but now we’re so glad we did! The crispy duck salad was refreshing and full of fun textures, and the french onion soup warmed us up after a cold, rainy morning. We decided to share the Good Friday special, a Fish (seafood) Pie, which was absolutely delicious. Lots of meat and didn’t require any additional seasoning. Would return here on our next visit. ”
“ We had a very good meal here, the staff are very friendly and professional. Service was first class, and the food was well presented and full of taste. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the interior is very ornate. ”
